Tribute gifts offer a meaningful way to honor someone special. You can also honor the late David Brown, former Executive Director of Descanso Gardens, by contributing to the David Brown Oak Restoration fund. All tribute gifts are fully tax deductible.

Honor a loved one or friend by donating in their name. A personal acknowledgement will be sent to the honoree or the family letting them know of your thoughtfulness. Your gift will support the gardens and our mission to connect people with nature and one another.
Blooming Tree Tribute
An engraved plaque will be placed in front of one of our spring-blooming trees from early February through April.
Tulip Bed Tribute—New!
Celebrate the season of color with a sponsorship of one of our tulip beds along the Promenade. An engraved plaque bearing their name will be displayed among 40,000 vibrant tulips from February through April.

An engraved plaque bearing their name will adorn a Promenade flower bed from early May through July.

Tribute benches are a lovely way to remember and honor a loved one and provide seating throughout the garden for Descanso’s guests. Your tax-deductible gift provides vital support for the gardens.
Landscape Bench Tribute $25,000
We’ve identified ideal settings for benches where guests can relax and take in nature. Our tribute benches are beautifully handcrafted from wood and feature an engraved plaque with your loved one’s name for a fixed term of 10 years.
